Packaging / Branding
Ecliptic Brewing Co.
Branding is not something to be taken lightly. Endless thought goes into making a distinctive design to advertise a particular product or company. In this instance, it was Ecliptic Brewing Co.
Focusing on astrology and human interaction, Ecliptic Brewing Co. has created a collection of zodiacal themed beer. To capture this, I created an astral based logo, featuring a feminine profile overlapping a crescent moon.
Six packs are split up by dueling elements, and cases contain all 12 zodiacal beers. Each of the distinctive labels were created by me in Adobe Illustrator, to correspond with that zodiac's element and lucky stones' colours.
To accompany the creation of the logo, labels, and six pack carrier, I created a mock billboard advertisement, magazine ad, and tap handles. I wanted this brand to be fresh and exciting, with many elements (no pun
intended) to spark interest and entice potential customers.
This campaign required use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
The Peach Music Festival
The Peach Music Festival has had a variety of different performers gather together at its venue in Scranton over the years. To capture this collection of artists, I wanted to hone in on a more classic look by mimicking the old letterpress print styles. After getting inspired by the design collection of historic Hatch Show Print, I landed on three different font types with a colour palette of navy, gold, and blush.
Through placement and attention to detail, I created this digital rendition of a classic letterpress print, hoping to best represent the spirit of The Peach Music Festival.

I wanted to incorporate scenes in the book into my design, while keeping them collateral in feel. John Green books are often stylized in ways that allow viewers to distinguish them immediately. I wanted to capture that same synergy in these book cover creations.
I used Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create these pieces.
Being stuck in Central Pennsylvania, escaping is always on my mind. To intrigue my audience, I focused on highlighting the dichotomy of the textured urban jungle with the blue silky sky. I wanted to really symbolize the refreshment of a getaway.
Adobe Photoshop and InDesign were used to create this piece.

Boondocking is similar to dry camping, but rather than staying in a campground without hookups, boondocking is usually done in completely underdeveloped areas. It is becoming a more popular way of life, especially among Millennials who find they cannot afford rent or house payments. Many choose to upgrade their vehicles to accommodate their travels.
Those choosing to opt out of regular life in an apartment or house, still have to make money. Oftentimes, boondockers will modify their vehicles with solar panels in order to harness energy to use. With solar panels,
lights, electronics, and internet can be used. Usually boondockers are good with their hands, and are able to come up with creative solutions. Boondocking magazine is geared towards this demographic of capable young
adults. Filled with tips and tricks to prepare those for life as a boondocker, Boondocking magazine is a helpful guide for any traveler.

Logos are the stamp of a product or company. They allow for the potential client or customer to get a feel for what the company represents. I aim for all my logos to be clean, sophisticated, and professional.
